Travel diary: a blooming story
Ten years have passed since 2015, when we launched the Palorosa brand. The bags have traveled, they have been worn and used. We have created new colors, discovered and designed new weaves. We walked a lot. We explored Guatemala repeatedly.
We have taken photos, looked for inspiration in the markets, in the landscape, through the people. This time – we definitely have lost count of the trips – the inspiration comes, once again, from the flowers, but in an even different way. In those packages – maletas – wrapped and carried over the head. In those bright and soft colors and flowers, shades of yellow and pink: futuro blanco, centro verde, dandelions, roses and daisies.
Along with the flowers and those beautiful packages along the square, inspiring and powerful women and weavers with their embroidered flowers, their striped skirts. Palorosa bags on their shoulders: Catarina, Maritza, Josefa, Jessica, Maria, Herlinda, Mirna, Beverly, Andrea..
